Inspiration and Learning at Women’s Leadership Conference

What a fantastic day! On Friday, April 6th, Johnson & Hill was part of the Women’s Leadership Conference at Bay Path University. As always, it was a day of inspiration and learning.

Morning Keynote

To get the day started, we heard from Amy Cuddy. As a social psychologist and bestselling author, her insights were lifechanging. The ideas she presented are things we can all implement into our personal and professional lives right away.

Inspirational Breakout Sessions

As the day continued, attendees had the nearly impossible task of deciding on two of the four breakout sessions. Some chose Dr. Stephen Brand, who helped us all to delve more into the idea of curiosity. Also a big hit was Cy Wakeman, who spoke about leadership philosophy and advocated for the overwhelming benefits of a Reality-Based Leader. Dr. Tasha Eurich brought the power of self-awareness to a whole new level, especially for those in positions of leadership. And Linda Galindo showed us the areas in which organizations may be lacking in accountability, offering steps on what we can do right away to get things back on track.

Lunchtime Learning

As if that weren’t enough, the lunch panel featured conversations with three successful, wonderful women whose stories are a source of inspiration for us all.

The Grand Finale

And finally, the event culminated with Lena Waithe, an Emmy-Award winning writer, producer, and freelance actress. During Dr. Leary’s interview with Lena, we had a glimpse into the life and experiences of this supremely talented individual. And at the end, we walked away feeling inspired and driven to keep pushing toward our dreams. This is certainly someone we’ll be hearing more about in the not-too-distant future.

Thank you!

Thank you to all the leaders who participated and to all the individuals who stopped by our booth. And of course, thank you to Bay Path University for putting on this great event year after year.
